The Coastal Carolina University athletic department is partnering with concessionaire Aramark to allow fans to eat free at Chanticleers football games inside Brooks Stadium this fall, the school announced Monday.

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball team suffered a 5-4 walk-off defeat to the host-Chanticlees at St. John Stadium in Conway, South Carolina, after a game-long lead was ripped out of their hands in the bottom of the seventh.

SAN MARCOS, Texas — No. 21 Coastal Carolina capped off its longest road swing of the season in commanding fashion Sunday afternoon, defeating Texas State 10-3 at Bobcat Ballpark to take the weekend series and close the eight-game road trip with a 5-3 record.

No. 21 Coastal Carolina was stymied by Texas State pitching in a 1-0 loss on Saturday afternoon at Bobcat Ballpark, as the Chanticleers were shut out for just the second time this season.

On Friday night, the Ragin’ Cajuns saw a three-run lead in the bottom of the seventh inning disappear with Coastal Carolina’s four-run rally. On Saturday, an early three-run lead for the Cajuns also faded away in a 10-8 loss to the Chanticleers in Conway.
