Huskies star Paige Bueckers revealed the team's national championship banner on her Instagram on Monday following UConn's win over South Carolina in the title game. "National champ is crazy," she wrote.

A day after finally winning the NCAA national championship in the final game of her collegiate career, Paige Bueckers was back in Connecticut with her team to celebrate bringing home the program's 12th championship title.

UConn superstar guard Paige Bueckers was showered with confetti, cheers, hugs and love after the Huskies won the 2025 national championship.

But with the Huskies holding a comfortable lead over South Carolina in the national championship, she knew this was it. Bueckers buried her face on coach Geno Auriemma's shoulder and all the emotions she had bottled up the entire day were finally coming out in the form of tears.

In the end it took more than Paige Bueckers' best for her to hoist an elusive first title. It took all three of UConn's stars sharing the burden to hoist the trophy.
