NEW YORK - A shooting on the Upper West Side is impacting subway service in New York City. Police said a 47-year-old man was shot in the leg around 9:20 a.m. Thursday at West 69th Street and Columbus Avenue near Columbus Circle. Witnesses told CBS News New York they heard roughly a dozen gunshots and the window of a bus stop was blown out.

According to reports, the suspect was fired before the shooting, confronted his boss and fired at least six shots before fleeing into subway tunnels.
