Art Garfunkel revealed in an interview with The Times that he recently had a tearful reunion with his former music collaborator Paul Simon, 83. "I cried when he told me how much I had hurt him," Garfunkel admitted.

Art Garfunkel reveals that he recently made peace with Paul Simon over lunch at the Pierre hotel, and he hopes they can perform together again.

“I cried when he told me how much I had hurt him,” Garfunkel recalled, without specifying which interview Simon was referring to. “Looking back, I guess I wanted to shake up the nice guy image of Simon & Garfunkel. Y’know what? I was a fool!”

Simon and Garfunkel famously split in 1970, though they have reunited for one-off occasions several times since.
