The Arkansas men's tennis team (5-2) returns to Billingsley Tennis Center this weekend to host Nebraska (3-1), Wichita State (2-2) and Lamar (2-2) ahead of a three-match road trip.

The Razorbacks lost their freshman phenom Boogie Fland for the season, which is a massive blow as he was the team's best offensive weapon. Fland was committed to Kentucky before Coach Calipari made the move to Arkansas.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — It must be confusing to be an Arkansas fan during Kentucky week this year.

Sheridan offensive lineman Bradley Sturdivant, 6-foot-3, 300 pounds, gave his commitment with a handshake to Arkansas Razorbacks head coach Sam Pittman last Saturday, it marked the sixth time in the past seven years that the first pledge for the next cycle came from a homegrown prospect.

The Razorbacks expect to add between 75 and 100 scholarships across 19 sports, which will cost approximately $3.5 million per year, and project to share $21.5 million in revenue. Specifics of Arkansas’ revenue sharing plan — which sports will receive how much — have not been finalized.

Arkansas has finished within the top four of the SEC softball standings each year since 2021 and has won the conference regular-season title twice. But despite this success, the Razorbacks have no Women’s College World Series appearances to show for it.

Arkansas hosts the Texas A&M Aggies after Izzy Higginbottom scored 32 points in Arkansas' 89-69 loss to the Kentucky Wildcats.

Adou Thiero, who followed Calipari from Kentucky to Arkansas, had five points in the final minute to end the team's five-game losing skid.

Lineup and Rotation Preview: The book is out on Arkansas. With most of the position battles won, Arkansas fielded most of its starters on the same team. Both the Arkansas and Kentucky programs have three signees in the 2025 class, and both will bring in five-star talent later this year. The Hogs and Wildcats also both have at least one McDonald’s All-American as part of their respective 2025 recruiting groups.

To make a short story even shorter, the Wildcats made 22 of 28 (78.6%) field goals and 22 of 27 free throws and won 66-64. The Villanova players stormed the court and yelled "Georgetown wins, April Fools.
