Allbirds has shuttered its large retail store at 57 Hotaling Pl. next to its headquarters in Jackson Square. The 5,000-sq.ft. store debuted in 2017 as the first brick-and-mortar for the techie-adjacent brand, which originated with ecommerce only.

Luxury department store Bloomingdale's announced it is closing its flagship store in San Francisco joining several other stores that have closed in the area the past several years.

Bloomingdale’s will be closing its San Francisco Union Square location this spring, KRON4.com has confirmed. The location, which was the retailer’s flagship store in the Bay Area, was also the last major anchor tenant at SF’s troubled San Francisco City Centre mall.
