PAGASA is now monitoring a low pressure area that formed outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Friday, November 8

Authorities cleared uprooted trees and debris in the northern Philippines on Friday as Typhoon Marce (Yinxing) blew out to sea after pounding the coast overnight, ripping roofs from homes and forcing thousands to seek shelter.

Typhoon Marce is now over the sea west of Ilocos Norte, with five areas still under Signal No. 4, and expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this afternoon, according to the Tropical Cyclone Bulletin PAGASA posted early Friday morning.

The northern towns of Cagayan province are in disarray after Typhoon Marce  (international name: Yinxing) wreaked havoc across the region, making landfalls in Santa Ana and Sanchez Mira on Thursday, according to reports.
