Joshua Baker led Covington police on a chase along I-75 near the 275 exit, culminating in a dramatic scene on the bridge. Police said Baker crashed into two vehicles and attempted to steal one before climbing over the side of the bridge. He hid in the girders for four hours before being apprehended.

According to police, a suspect struck a Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office narcotics detective and took off, leading deputies on a chase that ended in the westbound lanes of State Road 836 near the exit for Northwest 12th Avenue. It was there that one man was taken into custody.

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - A suspect is in custody after Capitol Police attempted to pull him over and he led officers on a chase. According to Bailey Martin with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety, around 7:16 p.m., Capitol Police officers attempted to perform a traffic stop on a vehicle near Northview Drive and Meadowbrook Road.
