The MotoGP finale has been switched from Valencia to Barcelona because of the devastating floods in Spain. The last round of the series was scheduled for the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia but the venue has been impacted by the floods caused by torrential rain.

Dorna has officially confirmed Barcelona as the venue which will decide who is the 2024 MotoGP world champion.

The Valencia MotoGP is cancelled and several other events have been postponed following the devastating flash floods in Spain.

After initially wanting to run the 2024 MotoGP finale at Valencia as planned on November 15-17, MotoGP made the right decision to cancel the event at the Ricardo Tormo circuit. However a replacement is scheduled for the same weekend and it looks like Barcelona will be the destination of choice.

Barcelona will host the final race of the MotoGP season next week in place of flood-hit Valencia, organisers Dorna announced on Tuesday.

He's the series' boss, who failed to see that holding a race in what's essentially a disaster zone, where more weather was already pushing in, the same weather that has decimated Valencia, would then affect Barcelona,
