The e Vitara, Suzuki Motor Corporation's first battery electric vehicle (BEV) model, has been revealed in Milan, Italy. The electric SUV will be manufactured at Maruti Suzuki India's Gujarat plant, with production scheduled to commence in the spring of 2025.

The e Vitara for India might be called with a different name but design wise it retains the basic concept look while being an above 4m SUV.

The Suzuki e Vitara has been revealed as the production version of the Maruti eVX concept in Milan, today. The ‘born-electric’ midsize SUV is the Japanese brand’s first EV for India and will enter a hotly contested segment that includes the Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV and the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV and Mahindra BE 05.

At the rear, it features connecting taillights with an integrated spoiler. Other highlights include e-Vitara lettering on the centre, a high mounted stop lamp, a skid plate and there’s also a small squarish fog lamp at the lower part of the bumper.
