UFC 317 is set, but questions remain about what could've been if matchmakers had made some different calls for both Ilia Topuria and Islam Makhachev.

The UFC has finally booked Ilia Topuria's highly anticipated lightweight debut – and it will be for another title. Topuria, who vacated the featherweight championship in February, is scheduled to take on former UFC lightweight champ Charles Oliveira at UFC 317 on June 28 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Islam Makhachev has vacated his lightweight belt and will move up to the welterweight division to fight Jack Della Maddalena, Dana White announced Tuesday.
