After four days of mediation, the New York State Department of Corrections (DOCCS) and the New York State Correctional Officers and Police Benevolent Association (NYSCOPBA) have reached an agreement

New York's Department of Corrections and the union representing correction officers agreed to terms on several issues to address the officers' safety and workplace concerns.

The suit alleges that the strikes threaten DOCCS’s operations and jeopardize the safety and security of working correctional officers.
