The wait is over for some of the most anticipated Apple Intelligence features. Apple released iOS 18.2 in December, and the update brings a whole host of AI features to your iPhone -- if you have a compatible one.

For users who prefer not to engage with Apple Intelligence, the process to disable these features is straightforward: To reclaim the space used by AI models, users must reset their device via Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Erase All Content and Settings. After the reset, they should avoid enabling Apple Intelligence during setup.

Apple released iOS 18.2 in December, more than a month after the tech giant released iOS 18.1. The update brought a handful of new Apple Intelligence features, like Genmoji and Image Playground, to people with the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max or a device from the iPhone 16 lineup.
