Veteran reliever JT Chargois has agreed to a minor league deal with the Texas Rangers. The deal came before the team's first workout of spring training Wednesday in Surprise, Arizona.
Chargois, 34, signed a minor league deal on Wednesday and reported to camp in time for the team’s first pitchers and catchers meeting.
The giveaways start Friday, April 4, when the Rangers will be handing out retro arcade bucket hats on a first-come, first-serve basis.
