A southbound Tri-Rail train struck a car in West Palm Beach Thursday morning. It happened around 7:30 a.m. on Old Okeechobee Road. The car was on the tracks. Tri-Rail officials said the driver of the car was taken to the hospital. As of 8:04 a.m., the track is now clear.
