NBA expert Bobby Marks believes a proposed three-team blockbuster trade fixes the Minnesota Timberwolves' chemistry woes.

While it's a decision that likely doesn't bode well for Jazz fans, it makes sense from the NBA's perspective to pivot in a different direction from Utah for their primetime slot considering the team is currently riding on one of their bleakest seasons in franchise history.

The Utah Jazz (10-29) are home in Northwest Division action against the Minnesota Timberwolves (21-19) on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 9:00 PM ET. This is the first contest between these squads this year.

So long as the Jazz are able to get a top-10 pick, they’ll keep their own pick in 2025 (if it falls out of the top 10, the pick goes to the Oklahoma City Thunder). But, it’s not just their own pick that the Jazz will be playing with in the 2025 draft.
