Thursday, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed the state’s 2025 budget.It includes millions for a project that will have a major impact on the CSRA. Georgia lawmakers awarding $99.8 million to fund a new research facility for Augusta University.
Augusta University has been allocated nearly $100 million in state funding for a new translational research building. The new facility will provide modern laboratory spaces and advanced equipment to further medical research.
