Quinn Meinerz was snubbed by Pro Bowl voters this season, but Broncos coach Sean Payton believes they will make up for it down the road.

The Denver Broncos' All-Pro has some self-professed improvements to make, and he sees more in this team than a mere seventh seed.

Outside linebacker Nik Bonitto, guard Quinn Meinerz, punt returner Marvin Mims Jr. and cornerback Pat Surtain II were named to the Pro Football Writers of America's All-NFL team. All four players were also named to the organization's All-AFC team.

The Broncos followed that with extensions for rush linebacker Jonathon Cooper and left tackle Garett Bolles. And this offseason, the biggest moves the Broncos could make might very well be extensions for two players: defensive end Zach Allen and rush linebacker Nik Bonitto.

The Broncos are expected to lose executive Darren Mougey to the Jets this offseason, according to Josina Anderson.

In Denver’s second season with coach Sean Payton as the play caller, the offense made strides but there’s still more work to be done.

Former GM John Elway gave Darren Mougey his start as a Broncos' scouting intern in 2012. Mougey worked his way up to assistant GM before being hired by the Jets.
