Vice President Kamala Harris canceled a planned speech at an election night party but had not yet conceded defeat early Wednesday after former President Donald Trump was elected to another term. Trump defeated Harris by capturing at least 270 of the electoral votes needed to win the presidency. His tally could increase as more votes are counted.
