Mukesh Ambani’s Jio Platforms Ltd a unit of Reliance Industries has reportedly launched JioCoin, a reward token, on the Ethereumlayer 2 network Polygon. However, no official announcement about JioCoin, but a lot of users have seen the reward token was mentioned on JioSphere, a browser that works with both iOS and Android smartphones.

Jio Platforms has introduced a new reward token called JioCoin on the Polygon blockchain network. The launch has sparked discussions among users regarding its potential applications, though the company has not yet provided official details about its utility.

According to a blog post by CoinDCX, those interested in investing can purchase JioCoin on their crypto exchange. This makes it available for both Indian as well as global investors. However, the launch of JioCoin has also come under criticism.
