LSU women's basketball landed its first transfer of portal season, signing an impact transfer with multiple years of eligibility left.

Former Wisconsin guard Luke Haertle reentered the transfer portal on Thursday. The Hartland, Wisconsin, native transferred from Wisconsin after the 2023-24 campaign, eventually committing to Winona State (D-II).

The NCAA transfer portal opened March 24, which was a few days before BYU's season came to an end with a loss to Alabama in the Sweet 16. It did't take much longer for the Cougars to utilize college basketball's transfer mechanism — in both directions.

Iowa basketball is among a lengthy list of schools that are in the mix for former Kansas State guard Brendan Hausen. Hausen averaged 10.9 points and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting 39.0% from the field and 38.
