Family and friends gathered Saturday night at Legacy Church in Hollister to honor the lives of three young men who tragically died in a head-on collision Tuesday evening on Shore Road on the outskirts of Gilroy.

Three students from Hollister High School were killed Tuesday night in Gilroy after the driver lost control of their vehicle and struck another car, authorities said.

GILROY — The three people killed in a crash Tuesday night near Gilroy have been identified as teenagers from Hollister.

A pregnant woman killed in a car crash on New Year’s Day has been identified as 29-year-old Rachel Marie Gonzalez Gallegos of Gilroy. Her uncle says Gallegos was in the car with her husband and young son when the crash happened.

GILROY – Three people were killed in a crash Tuesday night near Gilroy, according to authorities. The fatal collision happened just before 7 p.m. on Shore Road west of Lake Road, the California Highway Patrol said in a news release.
