Leaders at Quinnipiac University, in Hamden, Connecticut, announced Thursday they selected Marie Hardin as the university’s 10th president, effective July 1. She has been the dean of the Penn State Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications since 2014 and a member of the Penn State faculty since 2003.

Carmel Auditorium in front of a crowd of students, faculty and staff. Hardin will assume the role at the end of the 2024-25 academic school year.
