According to St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, at around 11:40 p.m. Wednesday night, officers were dispatched 5900 block of Theodore Avenue with reports of a woman being attacked by multiple dogs in their backyard.

Gladys Anthony died after the attack at her Missouri home. A 73-year-old man who intervened with a pistol and broom also was injured in the attack.
