The sudden security at the southern U.S. border with Mexico could open up threats to the U.S. northern border with Canada, FBI Director Kash Patel told lawmakers.

An immigration expert says visa policies in Canada attract foreigners, who then illegally enter the United States via the northern border.

Homeland Security sources said that there are “lots of northbounders” now running scared and “self-deporting” from the US with Trump back in office.

The U.S. government is ending a more than century-old friendly arrangement on the Canadian border as the two countries feud.
