Flames recall Dryden Hunt from the AHL as Anthony Mantha heads to Injured Reserve, sidelined until at least November 13.

The Calgary Flames look like they’ll be without Anthony Mantha tonight against the Boston Bruins. Mantha played just 5:06 two nights ago versus the Montreal Canadiens before suffering a lower-body injury in the first period. He was absent from the bench to begin the second and was ruled out of the game a short time later.

Mantha has four goals and three assists this season while playing with Jonathan Huberdeau and an assortment of other linemates. His absence has necessitated a shuffle for the Flames, and at Wednesday’s practice the Flames had Huberdeau playing with Yegor Sharangovich at centre and Martin Pospisil on the right wing.

The Calgary Flames have placed Anthony Mantha on the injured reserve (IR) with a lower-body injury. Mantha left Tuesday’s game against the Montreal Canadiens after he lost his balance when receving a check from Emil Heineman and it looked like he awkwardly twisted his right knee as he went down.
