The Trump administration and the president of El Salvador said they struck a deal allowing the U.S. to ship detained migrants and imprisoned criminals to a mega-prison there

After meeting Secretary of State Marco Rubio, El Salvador's president has offered to house U.S. deportees and even American inmates in his country's "mega-prison."

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the offer includes incarcerated American citizens who would be held in the country’s maximum-security prison.
