Some are wondering if LeBron James could get traded now that Luka Doncic has come to the Lakers, and one team has contacted L.A. about James.

James signed a two-year, $104 million deal in July to stay with the Lakers. The deal includes a player option for the 2025-26 season and a full no-trade clause, which James would have had to waive in order to be dealt to another team.

Late Saturday night, the Lakers agreed to trade Anthony Davis to Dallas in exchange for Doncic. And while the Lakers are suddenly set for the post-LeBron era, it had to be bittersweet for LeBron to lose a teammate in Davis.
