As Square Enix prepares to celebrate Final Fantasy 9's 25th Anniversary, a dedicated website could mean an imminent remake announcement.

For starters, Square Enix is selling the Final Fantasy IX Picture Book: Vivi, Grandpa, and the Day of Departure for 1,320 yen or approximately $9 USD, which is set to release on July 2. There are also several goods to order, such as figures, necklaces, and plushies, as well as the 25th Anniversary vinyl called Timeless Tales.

Square Enix has launched a new anniversary website for Final Fantasy 9, and has announced new merchandise to celebrate the RPG. The game, which turns 25 this year, will receive new action figures and other collectibles based on the game’s cast. The figures will be released this summer.
