The wait was definitely worth it for Will Howard. Largely projected as a late Day 2 or early Day 3 pick, the former Ohio State quarterback wasn't selected until the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. While he wasn't thrilled about that, Howard literally wept tears of joy after being drafted by the Steelers, the team he wanted to play for all along.

On his first day at rookie minicamp, Howard continued to sing the praises of the Steelers, and said he had a soft spot for them heading into the draft. “I’ve got a lot of connections to Pittsburgh,” Howard said.

Cade Klubnik is expected to be one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2026 draft and several teams will be interested in the Clemson product.
