Tennis star Naomi Osaka has announced her separation from rapper Cordae Brooks after five years together. The four-time Grand Slam champion shared the news on her Instagram story, emphasizing there was no animosity between them. “Hi everyone, just wanted to say that Cordae and I are no longer in a relationship,” Osaka wrote.

She and Cordae became parents to a daughter in Los Angeles in July 2023. Osaka returned to the tour at last year’s Australian Open after about 15 months off.

Auckland-born Norrie was facing match point against Facundo Diaz Acosta of Argentina when he lightly tossed his racquet into the air. The racquet struck a woman in a court-side box who was unhurt. Video of the incident showed a woman in a hat reacting quickly and deflecting the racquet away as the crowd gasped.
