Playing deep into the night, the Texas Tech Red Raiders and Arkansas Razorbacks delivered the game of the tournament to date Thursday in the Sweet 16. For much of the evening, it appeared John Calipari’s March revenge tour was destined to extend another two days.

After leading by double digits at multiple points in the game, the Razorbacks lost an overtime heart-breaker to the Red Raiders in the Sweet 16 by a score of 85-83.

Darrion Williams scored the tiebreaking basket with 7.3 seconds left in overtime after tying the game with a 3-pointer in the closing seconds of regulation to lead Texas Tech to an 85-83 win over Arkansas on Thursday night and a spot in the Elite Eight.
