Somebody just won a massive $526.5 million Powerball jackpot — and the lucky ticket was purchased in California, less than three miles away from a theme park known as the "Happiest Place on Earth"

The latest Powerball winner has one year to come forward and collect the prize. The store that sold it will also be awarded $1 million.

ANAHEIM — A ticket with all six numbers in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing was sold in Anaheim and the player has the option of receiving the $515 million jackpot in 30 installments or a $243.8 million lump sum payment before federal taxes, the California Lottery announced.

Two $1 million Powerball prizes capped off a lucky weekend for Georgia lottery players. Two tickets sold in the Peach State matched five numbers but not the Powerball in the March 29 drawing, narrowly missing the estimated $527 million jackpot, the Georgia Lottery said. Other players scored $150,000 and $50,000 prizes, results show.

The $526.5 million was revised upward from initial reports that pegged it at around $515 million, the Powerball website said.
