The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 4 p.m. In the last 10 years, the Miami Dolphins have made nine deadline deals. The Dolphins have added: Chase Claypool, Bradley Chubb, Jeff Wilson, DeAndre Washington, Aqib Talib.

Rosenhaus told Moser, "Chris Grier and the Dolphins have been very active in making phone calls at least over the last three weeks." He added that there have been aggressive efforts for the Dolphins to "get better" and while not able to make a deal at this moment, it is "not for a lack of trying."

It would make sense for the Dolphins to trade a late-round pick for an edge rusher, defensive tackle or guard/center, if the team and terms aligned. Miami is not in a sell-off situation. The Dolphins are not in an all-in situation.
