A year after initially searching for the missing 24-year-old Shannan Gilbert, authorities found her remains on Gilgo Beach. Gilbert, an escort, had called 911 on the night of her disappearance in the gated Oak Beach community in May 2010. She placed the call after she ran away from a meeting with a client who she connected with on Craiglist.
