Lebanon said Israel struck locations across the country on Tuesday, killing one person, as the Israeli military said it struck a Hezbollah weapons depot in a Syrian town near the Lebanese border.

GazaIsraeli planes struck smuggling routes near the Syrian city of Qusayr, on the border with Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, a war monitor and other sources said, as Israel's aerial campaign aimed at degrading the Iran-backed group Hezbollah continues on both sides of the border.

At least one Israeli airstrike hit an apartment building in a beach town south of Beirut on Tuesday, Lebanese state media said, as other deadly strikes hit scattered locations across the country and armed group Hezbollah launched rockets into Israel.
