The Ultrahand ability is confusing and unwieldy. The Switch 2 edition of Tears of the Kingdom aims to fix that.

Nintendo’s first Legend Of Zelda game for Nintendo Switch 2 is another Zelda centric spin-off set before the events of Tears Of The Kingdom.

The Switch 2 version of each game will include a “Zelda Notes” feature, which will provide game tips to players; you can use this Switch 2-only feature via the Nintendo Switch app on smart devices. It can help you find Korok seeds, for example. That’s in addition to enhanced resolution and frame rates and HDR support.

It’s perhaps no surprise that Nintendo opened its Switch 2 Direct with Mario Kart World, a Switch 2-exclusive launch title that’s a sequel to the original Switch’s most popular game. But it was more of a surprise that the Direct’s second segment,

Nintendo announced another prequel musou Zelda game with Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Imprisonment. To detail exactly when the game takes place in relation to Tears of the Kingdom would be a spoiler, but know that it will theoretically cover a gigantic war that takes place in Hyrule and may potentially not feature Link.

During the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, Nintendo revealed that a new Hyrule Warriors game is in development. It’s called Age of Imprisonment, and will tell the story preceding the events of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
