Tilak Varma, Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy made multiple records at the SuperSport Park in Centurion as India beat South Africa to take a 2-1 lead in the three-match T20I series.

Tilak Varma (107*) and Abhishek Sharma (50) led the way as India posted a daunting 219/6 at the SuperSport Park. Arshdeep Singh’s fine spell of death bowling then ensured the Men in Blue survived a scare from Marco Jansen and Heinrich Klaasen to walk away with a win.

As the series moves to the Highveldt, India will look to rely more on pace and seal an unbeatable lead. After their batting flopped in Gqberha, India stars will be keen on putting on a better show in Centurion on Wednesday.
