Ford Motor Company issued a recall for nearly 274,000 of its vehicles on May 9 due to loss of brake function, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Ford Motor Co. is recalling 273,789 vehicles in the United States as a loss of brake function may increase the risk of a crash, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Wednesday.
