Hi there are local tour guides when you reach chichen itsa site but not at the cenote. However, you won't really need a guide at the cenote as it's just a beautiful sink hole that you can swim in - of course there's history to it but we had all that information from our guide at chichen itsa before we went to the cenote. By the time you reach the cenote it is so hot all you want to do is dive into that water!
Hi All, I am travelling to Chichen Itza on early May 2016.We are on travel budget. We will be taking public bus from Valladolid town to Chichen Itza. After that is it advisable for us to walk to Cenote Sagrado?

Agree with previous answer...have fun! And...take a bathing suit, as you can swim in the water (at least we could some time ago)
I need to know if I can bring my 7 year old and my 2 year old to the Pyramids in CHICHEN ITZA and to the Sacred Cenote (Cenote Sagrado). I have no babysitters, and really want to swim in the Cenote with my kids, but I haven't seen a video of any kids swimming.. Thank you.. Also how much it cost to visit both locations?
